Mary
Office Admin
Mary's is the first face that you'll see coming into the office!
She comes to us from the world of theatre and brings a delightful energy to everything that she does. Mary loves to make sure every patient feels welcomed and she always has the time to listen when there is a concern.
When she’s not in the office, Mary loves to spend time with her incredible husband exploring the North Shore and everything it has to offer.
Ava
Receptionist and Sterilization Assistant
Ava is one of the friendly faces you may see at the front desk, helping contribute to a welcoming and positive experience for every patient. Ava graduated with First Class Honours from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Therapeutics. She has a strong interest in healthcare and is currently exploring both medical and dental school pathways.
Ava assists with scheduling, patient communication, and administrative support to help keep the office running smoothly. Behind the scenes, she ensures instruments are carefully sterilized and prepared for each appointment. She takes pride in helping create an efficient and supportive environment for both patients and the clinical team.
Outside of the office, Ava enjoys hiking local trails in North Vancouver with her dog and exploring the backcountry through camping. She also loves finding new places to swim and spending time with family and friends.
Stephanie
Certified Dental Assistant
Stephanie is a certified dental assistant, graduating from Douglas College in 2005.
She has been involved in clinical study clubs: Endodontic and Gold Tucker Inlay/Onlay, and constantly keeps current with her continuing education. Stephanie and Dr. Shave have had the fortunate opportunity to work together as a team since 2006. Stephanie's positive, friendly, caring, empathetic nature and sense of humour make her exceptional at her job. She likes to build rapport with all our patients, loves being a dental assistant, and loves making dental appliances from our 3D-Printer - such as bleach trays, essix retainers, and sports guards!
In her free time, Stephanie likes to spend her time playing with her two daughters, connecting with her friends, helping create delicious meals with her husband, baking, cycling, swimming, and camping.
Caitlin
Dental Hygiene Practitioner
Caitlin was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of British Columbia, receiving the Faculty of Dentistry Gold Medal Award for graduating at the top of her class. Throughout her education, Caitlin was continually recognized for her outstanding academic achievements, professionalism, and exceptional patient care.
Caitlin joined our practice in 2023. She uses evidence-based practices while delivering quality care and is committed to inspiring a lifetime of health.
Outside of dentistry, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her rescue pup, camping, and exploring the best coffee and doughnut shops across the lower mainland.
Maylee
BDSc, Dental Hygiene Practitioner
Maylee has been a Dental Hygiene Practitioner since 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Vancouver Community College.
Maylee has been with our office since 2009. She has the incredible ability to make patients and co-workers feel like her long-lost friends, even when they are meeting her for the very first time. She prides herself on building trusting relationships with our patients and they adore her cheerful personality!
As a founding and active member of the Vancouver Dental Hygiene Study Club, Maylee enjoys staying current through continuing education so she can provide quality research-based care for her patients.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, hanging out with friends, volunteering at her church and son’s school, and traveling the world.
Ramneet
Registered Dental Hygienist
Ramneet graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree with a specialization in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta. She was born and raised in the lower mainland but moved to Edmonton for her studies. She loves getting to know her patients and educating them on their oral health practices.
Ramneet has been a part of our dental team since May 2018 on a part-time basis, and is currently on her maternity leave after the birth of her baby boy in November 2019.
In her spare time she likes travelling, plays soccer on a women's league, likes going for walks with her two dogs {Gino and Mylo) and spending quality time with friends and family.
Shannon
Dental Hygiene Practitioner
Shannon graduated from Vancouver Community College’s Dental Hygiene program in 2010 earning best clinician of the year award and her certificate of dental hygiene. Later in 2010, she furthered her dental hygiene career completing a bachelors degree from University of British Columbia in Dental Health science.
Shannon is a friendly dental hygienist who strives to make dental cleanings stress-free and comfortable. She believes in creating a judgement-free environment where patients feel well cared for. Shannon is dedicated to promoting good oral health and loves helping her patients achieve their best smiles.
Outside of work, Shannon likes to spend her free time exploring her neighbourhood of Port Coquitlam and enjoying outdoor activities with her two young boys and partner.
Adrienne
Registered Dental Hygienist
Adrienne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UBC before deciding to pursue a career in dental hygiene. In 2008 she obtained her Dental Hygiene diploma from Vancouver Community College and received the College of Dental Hygienists of B. C. Award of Excellence for graduating student.
Adrienne grew up in Vancouver, but has called North Vancouver home since 2013. She joined our team in March 2020, and is thrilled to be working close to home and helping our patients maintain beautiful and healthy smiles.
Outside of work, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. One of their favourite things to do as a family is to bike ride along the sea wall.
