Anita Dragovic
Office Manager
Anita graduated In 2003 from the dental receptionist program at BCIT. In 2013, she returned back to school to complete the BBA program at Kwantlen University.
Anita oversees the day to day functions of our busy dental practice and manages all administrative needs, whether in person, or by phone, or via email. She is instrumental in continuing to keep our office current with the latest technology and software. She keeps the office atmosphere light and fun and works closely with staff and patients to provide the ultimate care.
In her free time, Anita loves spending time outdoors and keeping in shape.
Her bucket list dream is to step foot on each continent of the world.
Mary
Junior Receptionist/Sterilization Assistant
Mary is the newest addition to our team!
She comes to us from the world of theatre and brings a delightful energy to everything that she does. Mary loves to make sure every patient feels welcomed and she always has the time to listen when there is a concern.
When she’s not in the office, Mary loves to spend time with her new husband exploring the North Shore and everything it has to offer.
Stephanie
Certified Dental Assistant
Stephanie is a certified dental assistant, graduating from Douglas College in 2005.
She has been involved in clinical study clubs: Endodontic and Gold Tucker Inlay/Onlay, and constantly keeps current with her continuing education. Stephanie and Dr. Shave have had the fortunate opportunity to work together as a team for almost 15 years. Stephanie's positive, friendly, caring, empathetic nature and sense of humour make her exceptional at her job. She likes to build rapport with all of our patients and loves being a dental assistant.
In her free time, Stephanie likes to spend her time playing with her two young children, connecting with her friends, helping create delicious meals with her husband, baking, cycling, swimming, and camping.
Kylea
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kylea has been part of our dental practice for over 17 years. She graduated from University of the Fraser Valley in dental assisting in 1999. She then worked in the dental field for several years before continuing her education at Vancouver Community College in dental hygiene and graduating in 2008. Kylea and some of her colleagues started the Vancouver Dental Hygiene study club in 2012 and continues to pursue education in the dental field.
Kylea resides in Downtown Vancouver with her family. She enjoys many outdoor activities and travelling the globe.
Maylee
BDSc, Registered Dental Hygienist
Maylee has been with our office since 2009. She has the ability to make patients and coworkers feel like her long-lost friend, even when they are meeting her for the very first time. Patients adore her cheerful personality!
Maylee has Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of British Columbia and a diploma in Dental Hygiene from Vancouver Community College. She prides herself on building trusting relationships with our patients.
She and her husband, Alex, have a beautiful son, Julian. They live in Vancouver and are very active in their church. In her spare time, Maylee enjoys spending time with family, friends and traveling.
Ramneet
Registered Dental Hygienist
Ramneet graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree with a specialization in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta. She was born and raised in the lower mainland but moved to Edmonton for her studies. She loves getting to know her patients and educating them on their oral health practices.
Ramneet has been a part of our dental team since May 2018 on a part-time basis, and is currently on her maternity leave after the birth of her baby boy in November 2019.
In her spare time she likes travelling, plays soccer on a women's league, likes going for walks with her two dogs {Gino and Mylo) and spending quality time with friends and family.
Shannon
Registered Dental Hygienist
Shannon is a graduate of the University of British Columbia Dental Hygiene Degree Program and holds an active registration through the College of Dental Hygiene of British Columbia since 2010. Prior to attending UBC, she earned her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Vancouver Community College and a certificate in Dental Assisting from Douglas College.
Shannon has had the opportunity to support a variety of patients, working with people with anxieties, injuries, temporomandibular dysfunctions, acute and chronic periodontal infections, and neurological disorders.
During treatments, Shannon's individual comprehensive care employs a variety of evidence-based techniques to ensure each patient's oral health goals are met. To achieve this, she is ever-expanding her knowledge through continuing professional development.
She welcomes patients of all ages and would be happy to guide you and your family towards optimum oral hygiene health.
Adrienne
Registered Dental Hygienist
Adrienne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UBC before deciding to pursue a career in dental hygiene. In 2008 she obtained Dental Hygiene diploma from Vancouver Community College and received College of Dental Hygienists of B. C. Award of Excellence for graduating student.
Adrienne grew up in Vancouver, but has called North Vancouver home since 2013. She joined our team in March 2020, and is thrilled to be working close to home and helping our patients maintain beautiful and healthy smiles.
Outside of work, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. One of their favourite things to do as a family is to bike ride along the sea wall.
